The hotel is well known for its restaurants. The most renowned is situated in the old section of the hotel near the top of the building. Its lofty location allows it to offer stunning views over Stockholm while the al la carte menu of contemporary international cuisine ensures a unique dining experience. Breakfast meanwhile is served in a spacious dining room in the newer section of the hotel.
A beautiful and grand granite stoned tower provides host to the original section of the hotel. It is an imposing building which from a distance appears fortified due to the turrets that rise from the top. The newer section is constructed from brick and glass. It is a low rise building with limited architectural features other than its functionality and simplicity, yet it fits surprisingly well with the old section of the hotel.
All standard rooms have recently been refurbished in a contemporary Scandinavian style using pale wood and natural materials. The rooms have spacious working areas, ambient lighting and large comfortable beds to make any length of stay enjoyable. The view from the bedroom window is either over the sculpture museum Millesgarden or the Varta port area, with the whole Stockholm skyline beyond. Each en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and stylishly designed.
